IRT offers a series of training courses designed to advance your engineering teams' knowledge of radar and electro-optical fundamentals and advanced concepts.

Radar Fundamentals.

The Radar Fundamentals course is a three-day training course, focused on radar fundamentals and general concepts. This course is geared towards emerging and seasoned engineers supporting radar systems, namely SDA radar systems.

​Topics include - Key Terms and Definitions, Space Domain Awareness, Radar Measurements, Radar Architecture, Radar Ambiguities, The Range Equation, Waveforms and Signal Processing. 
 

EO Fundamentals.

The Electro-Optical Fundamentals course is a two-day training course, focused on EO fundamentals and general concepts. This course is geared towards emerging and seasoned engineers supporting electro-optical systems, namely SDA EO telescope systems.

​Topics include - Key Terms and Definitions, Space Domain Awareness, EO Measurements, EO Architecture, EO Ambiguities, The Range Equation, Light Properties and Waveforms, and Image Processing. 
 

Advanced Radar.

The Advanced Radar course is a two-day training course, focused on advanced radar engineering concepts and techniques. This course is geared towards experienced engineers supporting complex radar systems, namely SDA systems.

​Topics include - Key Terms and Definitions, Radar Subsystem Architectures and Processes, Complex Radar Measurements and Equations, Advanced Waveforms, and Advanced Signal Processing. 

Training Course Details.

  • All training courses are offered in-person or virtually.
    • In-person courses require a minimum of five students and maximum of twenty students.
    • Virtual courses require a minimum of three students and a maximum of ten students. 
  • Course materials are provided to students.
    • Materials may not be copied or reproduced without express permission from InTrack Radar Technologies. 
  • In-person courses include morning & afternoon refreshments, and a catered lunch. 
  • Radar Fundamentals and Advanced Radar may be combined into a week long course.
    • Price breaks are available when combining both courses. 
  • Travel costs to support in-person courses are in addition to the per student fees.
